Visiting Tokyo and wanted to try Kobe beef so I asked the hotel concierge for a recommendation. They sent me here. When you go, be prepared to eat. You might get sticker shock if it’s your first time ordering Kobe, but get one of the set menus they offer (I went with the second one). There is so much food, and it’s all delicious! The main course was far and away the best - it all lived up to the hype, and I left very full even though my main course was one of the smaller weights. The chef, Hiroki Koizumi, actually came out to see how it was after it was served. I don’t speak much Japanese but he came prepared with google translate, and he gave me advice on one of the remaining courses I had left (add wasabi AND a splash of beer 🤯). Overall, highly recommend this place if you’re visiting and want an elevated steak experience.
